摘要
The first French integrated CO2 capture and storage demonstration pilot is currently operated by TOTAL. CO2 injection into a depleted gas reservoir started in January 2010 and 45000 tones of CO2 have been injected so far. Reservoir modeling studies were conducted for various purposes. First objective is to forecast reservoir behavior during and after CO2 injection, and to verify this behavior once monitoring data is available. This is achieved by using a standard oil and gas workflow. Second objective is to review specific CO2 issues, including near well bore effects, long term CO2 migration and geochemical impacts in the reservoir. (C) 2013 Hie Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
