Raman Spectroscopy in the Analysis of Fluid Inclusion Composition in Quartz from Gold Deposits of the Southern Urals: Methodological Aspects

Horiba LabRam HR800 Evolution Raman spectrometer was applied to analyze gas phase composition of fluid inclusions in quartz from Nikolaevskoye, Svetlinskoye and Bolshoy Karan gold deposits of the Southern Urals. The mole fractions were calculated. Based on our experience, HR800 Raman spectrometer equipped with Ar laser (514 and 488 nm) is promising for study the composition of fluid inclusions having the size from 5 mu m located at the depth of about 100 mu m from the surface of transparent minerals.
