摘要
Administering anaesthesia is demanding and involves not only supervision of the patient but also of those many machines and displays claiming to aid with this task. Out of 23 objectbased interviews more than 1000 user-statements were analyzed and the results compared with the outcome of an ergonomic evaluation of the interfaces. An own interface-simulation was developed and processed during 14 iterative loops of a human centred design circle, resulting in an innovative interface-approach not used in operation theatres so far. Design-recommendations for future respirator-interfaces could be drawn and are presented in the following.
