摘要
PHENIX Experiment at RHIC collected large data sets with p+p, d+Au and heavy ion collisions that are used to measure heavy flavor and charmonium production at a center of mass energy of 200 GeV in different rapidity ranges. This contribution summarizes the latest results from PHENIX measurements concerning open and close heavy quark production and their interpretation in view of the current theoretical understanding in this field.
