摘要：
Several C-aryl-N-methylnitrones have been synthesised during the course of our work on 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions. Detailed systematic spectroscopic investigations or all these nitrones have been undertaken. These are reported along with some generalisations made regarding their spectroscopic properties.
