Generation of tunable picosecond pulses by synchronous pumping of a periodically poled lithium niobate optical parametric oscillator

摘要
A tunable quasi phase-matched optical parametric oscillator synchronously pumped at 1.047 mu m is reported. The signal was tuned from 1.33 to 1.45 mu m, corresponding to a calculated idler tuning range of 2.67-4.86 mu m. Average signal powers of up to 100mW and pulse durations of 3.2ps were obtained.
