摘要
The roots of apple are attacked by various soil-borne pathogens, of which Dermatophora necatrix causes white, root-rot, Phytophthora cactorum causes collar and crown-rot, and Armillaria mellea causing root-rot are the most destructive pathogens in apple growing parts,of the world including India.,Efforts have been made to manage these diseases through cultural. practices, chemical and biological agents. This review paper presents the results of the investigations undertaken for the identification of different bioagents and evaluation of antagonistic efficiency against these three soil-borne pathogens of apple.
