A dual-band, dual-polarization and dual-beam shaped antenna system

This paper describes a technique of antenna design that realizes dual-band, dual-polarization and dual-beam in one shaped reflector system(the reflector and its feed horn common to the two bands) via control of the effective illumining area, interior field filtering in the feed horn as well as the equivalent reflected wall technique. In this paper the basic principle of the technique is described and the analysis and design's way of the techniques illustrated. At last, a sample machine that is designed successfully is introduced, now the sample machine has been used in a radar system.
