Symmetry Energy, Pairing correlations in Nuclear Matter and Giant Resonances in Tin Isotopes

摘要
We calculated isoscalar giant monopole and isovector giant dipole resonances (GDRs) in tin isotopes using the quasi-particle random phase approximation (QRPA). Centroid energies for the giant resonances are derived from relevant strength distributions and compared to the available data. Roles of the pairing energies in the giant resonances are also discussed in detail.
