摘要
In this paper we employ the Bounding Method (BM) for single and multiple contingency screening including bus splits and bus joins deriving from circuit breaker operation. It is based on the use of exact generalized real power distribution factors. Also we introduce the Preconditioned Conjugate Gradient (PCG) method to solve the de load flow for each contingency in an interest area S centered around the nodes involved in the contingency. The proposed method improves the speed of contingency screening by using the Bounding and PCG methods. This leads to fast determination of Available Transfer Capability (ATC) in a deregulated environment where speed is an important issue. The proposed method may also be used for security analysis.
