摘要：
The paper describes the chances for innovation and use of technologies for supporting the living of people at home with an illness and/or disability. It presents a perspective from The Netherlands: the procurement system and industrial and medical organisation differ in other countries. Nevertheless, a lot of aspects, certainly the technologies itself are relevant for other countries.
