摘要
As people's lives prolongs, population aging in cities in China is aggravating. More and more old people participate in social activities, which give rise to various travel problems, in particular problems in design of public transport facilities. With city population aging being the background, old people's demand for design of public transport facilities, and deficiency in design of existing public transport facilities are researched. According to old people's physiological, psychological and travel features, corresponding design scheme or improvement suggestions are brought forward to facilitate travel of old people. Research on design of public transport facilities for population aging city is of positive significance for establishing barrier free city traffic and humanized social environment.
