摘要
In this research, a low loss dual mode bandpass filter is proposed by utilising Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) on multilayer Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC). The dual mode square resonator bandpass filter is designed on 600 mu m GaAs subtrate and two dielectric layers of Polyimide with thickness 2.5 mu m for each layer. When perturbation was attached, bandpass filter generate even-odd mode with different resonant frequencies. By increasing coupling coefficient of the even-odd mode one can increases bandwith of the bandpass filter. The even-odd mode was extracted from the S-parameter simulations.
