摘要
The sustainable development of today's society can be promoted by providing the educational sustainability. Therefore the teacher education does not lose its significance. There are many Latvian schools that have not got specialists in various study subjects. This tendency threatens the quality of education and sustainability of Latvian schools. The main aim of the authors' research is the diagnostics and promotion of pedagogy students' readiness for the professional activity in various cultural environments of schools which are based on the ecological approach in the teacher education. The authors of the article introduce the audience with: l) the analysis and assessment of the situation of schools' staffing 2) the scientific justification of the concept readiness for pedagogical activity: 3) the authors' conceptual approach in the context of development and organization of the students' pedagogical practice.
