摘要
The survey of the die and mold manufacturing industry is a cooperative research project which is conducted at the Institute for Production Engineering and Machine Tools (IFW) in Germany, the Institute of Industrial Science in Japan, and the Engineering Research Center for Net Shape Manufacturing (ERC/NSM) in the United States. The surveyed companies were asked about current practices in their die/mold making operation. The data presented in this paper is an aggregate of the obtained information based on responses received from die/mold manufacturing companies: 38 in Germany, 173 in Japan, and 99 in the United States.
