Measurement of void fraction using a vertical ventury in upward two phase flow

摘要
A new, practical and simple on line measurement of two phase flow is presented. Experiments were performed at a system pressure of 0.2MPa. The test sections were made of transparent vertical plexiglass pipe with the inner diameter of 30 mm. The void fraction was measured by the method presented below, which was also measured by two quick-close valves. The experiment results showed a satisfactory agreement for void fractions < 0.8.
