摘要
Chinese and Korean cultures share a lot in origin. Euphemism which is an import aspect in Korean language is quite similar to or even the same as Chinese. Whether it is "disease," "death," "pregnancy," "excretion," or expressions of everyday life is deeply marked by the stigma of Confucian culture, reflecting the emphasis on righteousness, courtesy, love, the pursuit of elegant atmosphere, and respect each other. All these reflect the strong penetration of Confucian culture.
