摘要:
HEALTH connection: Almost all of the major prevention efforts in public health involve getting information out to people across the globe, an effort that the Internet is well suited to aiding; the Global Health Network aims to ease the process by ensuring that all public health agencies in the world have Internet connections, explains Ronald E. LaPorte, director, disease monitoring and telecommunications of the World Health Organization Collaborative Center for Diabetes Registries and a professor of epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.
