摘要
Classical linear controllers to handle complex non linear systems dynamics put limitation on their applicability to a constraint range of operations for getting satisfactory performance. To tackle such problems a non linear Continuous stirred tank reactor is investigated with two intelligent controllers namely Self Tuning Regulator (STR) and Model Reference Adaptive Controller (MRAC) along with conventional PID and linear Model Predictive Controller (MPC). The performance such as Peak overshoot and settling time is evaluated for set point concentration control of CSTR. The MATLAB simulation results show that Adaptive controllers specifically Self Tuning Regulator performs well than other controllers.
