摘要
This article examines scholarly discussions on doping in the social and human sciences (specifically psychology, ethics, and pedagogy) to explore how sports medicine can promote anti-doping education by incorporating insights from such sciences. As sports physicians play a crucial role in guiding and aiding athletes to make critical health-related choices, sport medicine can be considered in itself a reflective and prescriptive human science. Social and human scientists' methodologies and themes, with support from World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs), can help sport medical professionals (and ultimately the athletes) to grow as practitioners and create more opportunities for engagement in critical thinking and dialogue. this emphasis on generating dialogical practices and promoting critical thinking would better align sports science with anti-doping education.
