摘要：

In this paper, we introduce the arithmetic function f(3) : N* -> Q(+) defined by f(3)(3(k)l) = l(1-k) for any integers k >= 0 and l >= 1 with 3 Xl. We show several important arithmetic properties about this function and then use them to establish some curious results concerning the 3-adic valuation.
