On the Detection of Power System Interharmonics Affected by Frequency Variability

摘要
This work investigates the impact of frequency fluctuation and additive noise on the measured amplitude of weak interharmonic spectral lines. A statistical model is introduced for the frequency fluctuation which is treatedas a random variable. The detection probability of interharmonic spectral lines is expressed analytically as a function of the probability of false alarm taking into account the selected window used against spectral leakage. Theoretical results derived in the paper are numerically assessed by simulating the whole measurement process.
