摘要：

Erlang mixtures of binomial, Poisson and negative binomial distributions have been defined and then different moments, characteristic function, shape characteristics and moment estimates of the parameters of these distributions have been provided. The distributions are found to be positively skewed and leptokurtic for any value of the parameters.
