摘要
The traditional criteria for teaching antenna theory is focused on professors teaching in theoretical lectures. A more attractive and integrated methodology for learning and teaching antenna theory is presented in this paper. Our methodology is built on four paths. The first path depends on the professor's theoretical teaching with the help of up-to-date references. The second path is conducted by teaching assistants to solve problems and analytical questions depending on logic thinking, calculations, mathematical analysis and MATLAB. In the third path, students active learning practical classes using Lucas-Nulle UniTrain-I practical Course and Rohde and Schwan. Vector Network analyzer are managed by the professor and teaching assistants. In parallel to the previous paths, groups of students cooperate in designing microstrip antennas suitable for modern wireless communications systems using CST and New FASANT simulators. The effectiveness of our methodology is measured by the students satisfaction survey and by comparing the average students score in the weekly quizzes before and after attending the practical classes.
