摘要
Classroom assessment literacy is the knowledge and skill necessary for compiling data about students' achievement and for effectively utilizing the assessment process and outcomes to develop and improve the quality of instruction of teachers and learning of students. The present study aimed at investigating the levels of classroom assessment literacy of primary school teachers and at suggesting a developmental approach for improving the classroom assessment literacy of primary school teachers. The study sample consisted of 19 primary school teachers at Wat Phai Rong Wua School who completed the Classroom Assessment Literacy Questionnaire (Mertler, 2003) and 8 teachers who participated in a focus group discussion. Data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and content analysis. The study findings revealed that most of the teachers had classroom assessment literacy at the low level. The approaches for improving the classroom assessment literacy of primary school teachers should emphasize cooperative learning and teamwork, with knowledgeable persons acting as mentors or coaches who offer advice during teaching practicum.
