摘要
The genetic polymorphism in 36 honey bee populations from Bulgaria was investigated using microsatellite DNA analysis. Nine microsatellite loci - Ac011, A024, A043, A088, Ap226, Ap238, Ap243, Ap249 and Ap256 were included in the study. Totally 121 alleles were found in the Bulgarian populations studied. Mean levels of Ho, He, Fst and Nm were calculated and discussed. The grouping of the Bulgarian honey bee populations in three different clusters - western, eastern and central - has been discussed. It was concluded that a significant part of the honey bee populations on the territory of Bulgaria have the characteristics of the local Bulgarian honey bee A. m. rodopica Petrov 1991. These results are an important addition to the system of criteria for characterization of the local honey bee populations and could be successfully used with selection purposes as well as in activities for the protection and conservation of A. m. rodopica gene pool.
