RETURN MIGRATION AND CRISIS IN SPAIN

Recent developments in the return of immigrants from Spain is therefore a complex reality in which many different factors involved. The current economic crisis in this country has meant high rates of even higher unemployment among immigrants than among the native population. The study is conducted by INE demographics, especially the Residential Variation Statistics. It is complemented by informacion provided in a series of interviews with people who will return to their countries or relatives of returnees. In these interviews highlights the importance of family problems in making decision to return to the place of origin, although the backdrop of unemployment and low expectations of business in Spain is well illustrated by the increase in the return of immigrants to their countries.
