摘要
Nowadays, we have a wide range of Risk Assessment methodologies, which have different characteristics, without, however, leaving aside the purpose of their existence: hazards identification, valuation (assessment) and risk control measures. The relative subjectivity of some methods of risk assessment can be considerably reduced if used checklists while implementing the method itself and not independently. The direct result of the checklist is used when calculating the level of deficiency in methods that use this parameter to establish the level of probability. So, as the level of deficiency is calculated using a practical tool, not just for a intuitive value, the method is more realistic and objective, reflecting better the risks to which workers are subjected in their workplace. This use of checklists can be best achieved in risk assessment methods which have as one of variables the level of deficiency. However, their use may be made with respect to other methods that do not follow these assumptions.
