PEDAGOGUE READINESS FOR WORK IN THE MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF LIFE-LONG EDUCATION

Teacher training nowadays is constantly changing. Teacher education is an innovative process related to teacher trainees and practising teachers. Continuous, life-long education is one of the aspects of educational work. The content of teacher education has been under constant quantitative and qualitative changes and that determines the need for the development of the multicultural environment in Latvia. Study programmes have to be changed and perfected to meet the requirements of the European society.
