Values structure and ethnical identity characteristics of traditional and modern cultures comparative analysis

摘要
The interrelation of culture modernization level with ethnical identity characteristics, values structure and psychological well-being is considered. The Russians from Moscow and Yakutsk, Evenks, Yakuts, Armenians from Yerevan - 324 respondents altogether, took part in the investigation. The examined ethnical groups are assigned to "modern" and "traditional" types of cultures in accordance with the mode of life modernization level. It is revealed, that values are the first to change in the process of sociocultural system modernization. Ethnical identity is transformed less. The increase of identity uncertainty in all groups irrespective of the level of their modernization is observed. It is revealed, that psychological well-being of typical cultures representatives is less then modem cultures ones. Orientation on values of Universalism and giving values of Conformity up promote the psychological well-being in modem types cultures. Orientation on values of Self-direction has an important adaptive meaning for traditional cultures representatives.
