Synthesis and characterization of ReP2O7 and of the Zr1-xRexP2O7 solid solutions

ReP2O7 and the Zr1-xRexP2O7 solid solutions were obtained using a wet and solid way and they were examined by XRD, IR, TG, MASE, PIXE and MEB methods. In the Zr1-xRexP2O7 solid solutions fluctuations of concentration were determined probably due to the evaporation of rhenium at the surface. The results of the retirement of the rays show that the volume of the elementary cells in the series of the Zr1-xRexP2O7 solid solutions decreases straight varying with "x". All attempts to synthesize Zr2-xRexO(PO4)(2) solid solutions and pure pole Re2O(PO4)(2) have not led to the expected results.
