摘要
In this paper, a new chaotic sinusoidal pulse width modulation (chaotic SPWM) control is proposed and implemented in a four-quadrant AC-DC converter for harmonics suppression, where a chaotic carrier plays a key role. Further, the relationship of the harmonic distribution and carrier frequency is derived by analyzing the harmonic components of the AC-DC converter, which is useful for revealing the operation principle of the chaotic SPWM control for harmonic suppression. Finally, the simulation and experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed chaotic SPWM control on harmonics reduction. Copyright (c) 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
