摘要
Refratechnik Cement GmbH installed approximately 2 500 t of refractory material in a period of only 4 months for the initial lining of the new rotary kiln line 8 at the Lengerich works of Dyckerhoff Zement GmbH. A precisely coordinated material transport system into a plant in which the steelwork had application of new lining schemes for the refractory material contributed to shortening the working time and to the success. Shaped bricks or monolithic products were installed to suit the requirements, and particular care was taken to ensure good environmental compatibility. A carefully planned arrangement of special low-cement monolithic refractories was used in the lower part of the preheater and in the kiln hood. Highly abrasion-resisting materials with coating-shedding properties and different anchoring techniques were used. Preference was given to brick linings for circular cross-sections or large areas. Tongue-andgroove systems provided optimum sealing against dust and gas. A large and particularly dimensionally stable prestressed roof was built in the kiln hood. Other complicated linings were installed for the cooler roof and the rotary kiln outlet. After the refractory lining had been completed the plant was dried out for five days. The kiln was then successfully commissioned.
