This paper presents a comparative study for a real network before and after the integration of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind farm (WF) and after using the voltage stability (VS) analysis to optimize the WF location from the VS point of view. The load flow sensitivity modal analysis (LFS MA) and the PV curves are used to optimize the WF location in the studied system. The two methods were applied using a DPL script made in PowerFactory DigSilent (PF-DS) that will gradually load up the system and output both PV curve and MA information at each operating point.
