摘要
In this empirical research we have treated the motivation of teachers and their competencies in correlation with student's success. In basis of the analysis we have done it is demonstrated that there was no increase in students' success on the outside rate of the students when doing the achievement exam, in basis of motivation by the teachers. However, student's success was higher in schools where the motivation by the teachers was higher in their work unlike by teachers with lower school work motivation, which has resulted with lower success of the students in their classes. It is proven that teachers, who possess more competencies in their work, reach a higher degree of self-motivation as a very important aspect of an educational institution. It is proven that the average of motivation is higher to those teachers who have less work experience, 1-5 years, whereas teachers who have 11 and more years of work experience have lower motivation. The submitted hypothesis confirms that those teachers who greatly appreciate competition in their workplace, have a higher level of readiness of working overtime than they are required in school
