摘要
This paper further analyses the asymptotical estimation variances of the MUSIC and MP (matrix pencil) methods for two-dimensional (2-D) frequency estimation, assuming a number of 2-D snap-shots and each snap-shot is a large 2-D array of data. The new expressions obtained for the asymptotic variances are valid for both medium and high SNR cases. For the single 2-D frequency case, the new expressions are not only most explicit but also general enough to incorporate the previous existing results as special cases. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
