摘要
A focused frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar operating in W-Band (75 GHz to 110 GHz) to detect dry fiber fabric in glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) components is demonstrated. The system can provide depth and size informations of faults inside glass fiber reinforced plastics without the requirement of a coupling medium, e.g., used with ultrasonic sensors while providing similar results.
