Functionalized enantiomerically pure 3,4-dehydropyrrolidin-2-one and 1,2-dehydropyrrolizidin-3-one systems have been achieved by intramolecular nitrile oxide cycloaddition, starting from enamido-oximes, and by subsequent reduction of the obtained cycloadducts.
