Formation of non-aggregated metal-nanoparticles in gas phase

摘要
Nickel Nickel nanoparticles were generated by the reaction between nickel chloride and hydrogen gases in an electric furnace. By using a quenching gas device and Laval nozzle for rapid cooling of the generated nickel particles, we succeeded the formation of non-aggregated nickel nanoparticles in average diameter of approximately 20nm.
