Primary hyperoxaluria type 1 and kidney transplantation: An unsuccessful case

Primary hyperoxaluria type 1 (PH1) is a rare autosomal recessive liver disease which produce renal failure and oxalosis, and whose optimal treatment is a dilemma. We report our experience of an isolated kidney transplant in a PH1 male who underwent recurrence of the disease in the third month and grafting-less in the eighth, in spite of preventive management.
