Consider the nonlinear neutral difference equation Delta[x(n) - p(n)g(x(n-k))] + q(n)h(x(n-l)) = 0, n is an element of N. We establish a linearized oscillation theorem which is a discrete result of the open problem by Gyori and Ladas.
