摘要
Two forms of perform were prepared by a Glass fiber /Polypropylene commingled yam. One is a three-dimensional woven with an angle-interlock structure and another is a two-dimensional plain weave laminate. The three-dimensional and two-dimensional thermoplastic composites were fabricated by hot-press process. Impact and tensile performance of those. composite materials were examined. Compared to the two-dimensional weave laminate, the three-dimensional thermoplastic composites have better impact properties further more, thickness-related maximum load, total energy and energy at maximum load increased 46.9%, 60.2%, 69.9%, respectively. The tensile modulus is lower, the elongation at break and breaking energy are greater.
