摘要
Successive extraction of dried whole plant parts of Ludwigia hyssopifolia with n-hexane, ethylacetate and methanol yielded hexane extract (LH), ethylacetate extract (LE) and methanol extract (1,M). Crown gall tumor assay (CGTA) showed significant inhibition of crown gall tumor formation by 65.09%, 73.05% and 61.90% at a concentration of 500mug/disc, and 80.95%, 84.14% and 76.19% at a concentration of 1000mug/disc with LH, LE and LM respectively. All the three extracts, exhibited good antibacterial activity (17-22mm) against Shigella dysenteriae, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis.
