THE EDUCATION FOR TRANSFORMATION - CONDITION OF MILITARY PERFORMANCE

Note feature of educational practice in the twentieth century was the traditional way of transmitting knowledge in which the central role was held by the teacher. Today it is considered that the product of this type of education, marked by attributes such as livresque and reproductive, is unable to form the modern officer from the perspective of the future. Therefore, the emphasis is on education for transformation which represents a new approach to achieving the aims of education, focusing on competence training and on the development of aptitudes and creativity.
