摘要
This paper looked at basic tenets of Self-Directed Learning and it application in Higher Education. The chapters are: 1) Concept of Self-Directed Learning 2) Motives for Self-Directed Learning 3) Motives and goal settings for Self-Directed Learning 4) Self-Directed Learning Skills 5) Benefits of Self-Directed Learning and Self-assessment of students Self-Directed Learning Skills. The digest of Self-Directed Learning definitions evidence for - Self-Directed Learning is highly collaborative. Group, specialty Cooperative learning group, is one of important tools for building students motivation for Self-Directed Learning. Self-Directed Learning become more successful if goals and motives for Self-Directed Learning are connected. Evaluate Self-Directed Learning skills are possible identify four levels. Results of students self-directed-learning skills self-assessements evidence for: experimental group students self-assessement change during semester. Values of modes increase, but maximum values reduce.
