摘要
Ground vibration sensors, which are a category of debris flow detectors, have many advantages over other types of detectors, but the fact that there is its yet no established method to determine threshold values for detecting debris flows remains a problem. This study therefore proposes it method of setting threshold of ground vibration sensor for detecting debris flow front the initial waveform and duration of vibration caused by a debris flow by analyzing the waveform of debris flow vibration, paying attention to a sharp increase in discharge at the debris flow front. If a method like this can be used to remove noise, it will be possible to detect debris flows by sensing ground vibrations earlier.
