摘要
The gas-phase flow and diffusion analysis of the droplet-train/flow-reactor technique, used in mass accommodation process was presented. It was shown that diffusive transport to a stream of fast moving droplets has the same functional dependence on Kn as the Fuchs-Sutugin expression for transport to a stationary droplet. It was demonstrated that the droplet diameter in the expression for Kn should be replaced by an effective diameter d f=C×d o, where d o is the diameter of the droplet-generating orifice and C is a constant. It was also found that C empiricaly corrects for deviations from the Fuchs-Sutugin formulation, which include physical effects that are not accounted for by the MSK simulation.
