摘要
Background As lives become more fractured and jumbled, it is not surprising that customers attract to the unrivalled convenience of an Internet when it comes to searching and buying product. Method : A case study on an apparel website and its information content was done. A questionnaire covering aspects such as demographic variables, behavior and information content desired was collected. A statistical analysis was done to examine the influence of the apparel related information design. Results The study examines the information content and design on online apparel retail store and users perception. People who buy apparels online preferred to have technical details about garment. graphical representation available on website, order details , size charts and access to negotiate with the vendor before buying. Conclusion : The study finds the web based information content can exhibit a role in users perception.
