摘要
A:major concern associated with gravity caissons supported by Sand Compaction Piles is the vertical settlement, horizontal movement and tilting of the caisson at different stages of loading. The field monitoring of caisson movement revealed pre-loading a caisson could be beneficial in reducing caisson total and differential movements. Subsequent unloading/reloading on caisson illustrated that there is insignificant rebound of caisson movements.
