摘要
The Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) is fundamental to characterize an object's reflecting properties. This function depends on both the different geometries illumination/viewing and the wavelength, and in consequence the integral interpretation of data is complex. The application of the Principal Components Analysis (PCA) multivariate analysis technique is evaluated on the BRDF experimental data of a Spectralon sample, allowing the spectral-angular dependence of the BRDF to be easily understood. This technique must help to develop physical-based models of reflection.
